About Pinnacles

Pinnacles is a remote, powerful right-hand reef break on the southwestern coast of Sumba. Named after striking limestone rock formations behind the lineup, it features a fast, critical takeoff that opens up into a steep, drivey wall with the occasional barrel, primarily for intermediate to advanced surfers.

Getting to Pinnacles

Pinnacles surf wave is located in West Sumba. You need to first fly into Tambolaka Airport and then travel southward, past Marosi Beach and towards Kodi region.

Where to Stay Near Pinnacles

There are some resorts near Pinnacles. In a neighboring cove is The Sanubari. If you want to stay at a place that puts a very significant emphasis on surfing, Sumba Surf Camp and Sumba Sunset Surf Camp are the way to go.
