About Five-O

An ultra heavy, fast breaking right-hand reef wave located on the remote southeastern coast of East Sumba, Indonesia. known for producing massive barrels, it is demanding, uncrowded break stritcly suited for advanced surfers willing to travel off the beaten path.

Getting to Five-O

You need to first fly into Waingapu Airport. Once you are on Sumba, you can either rent a car or hire a driver. You must drive for approximately 2 to 3 hours across the island’s eastern savanna.

Where to Stay Near Five-O

There aren’t many accommodation options near Five-O. All surf-themed accommodations are in the west and southwest. Marthen’s Homestay in Tarimbang might be the best option for a surfer due to its proximity to other surf breaks.
