About Tarimbang

Tarimbang Beach is a hidden bay featuring fine white sand and a shape resembling a giant horseshoe. Located in the southern part of East Sumba, the beach offers extraordinary tranquility, surrounded by lush green hills making it a dream destination for a brief escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

How to Get to Tarimbang Bay

This destination is located approximately 90–120 km from the town of Waingapu. The overland journey undertaken in a rented vehicle such as an SUV or a high-powered motorcycle takes about three hours and traverses hilly savanna terrain. The final stretch of the route consists of narrow, rocky, and severely damaged roads, requiring a vehicle in excellent condition.
