Weerindi Wewe Spring, situated in Elopada, is a historically and culturally significant natural spring, located just two blocks beyond the Bina Cipta store. Access to the spring involves taking a small pathway across from the store, leading to a discreet location behind a local residence, reachable within a five-minute walk.

Historically, this spring served as the primary water source for the local community, though its usage has diminished with the development of alternative water supplies. The spring’s most distinctive feature is its placement within a small cave, requiring visitors to descend slightly to collect water.

In addition to its practical use, Weerindi Wewe Spring holds historical importance as a refuge during the Dutch colonial period, when ancestors sought shelter within its hidden confines. The surrounding area is characterized by dense greenery, with towering trees and abundant foliage creating a tranquil, shaded environment. Notably, large, exposed tree roots frame the entrance to the cave, enhancing the natural beauty and mystique of the site.
