Unlike most Sumba waterfalls which are surrounded by lush jungle, Weekacura Waterfalls are located in the middle of a large rice field landscape. The beautiful clear blue water cascades gracefully through several levels of terraced natural pools, in which visitors can enjoy a refreshing swim. Weekacura waterfalls are nestled near the village of Tema Tana in southwest Sumba. One can reach by car the Waikelo Sawah Dam, then walk along the river for about 800 meters to reach the Weekacura waterfalls.
