St. Petrus & Paulus

Located just one block away from the renowned printing store, Warna Warni 2, St. Petrus & Paulus is the largest and foremost Catholic church in Waikabubak city. Painted primarily in orange, it draws inspiration from the traditional houses of Sumba, featuring three small roofs at the front that reach towards the sky. Each roof is adorned with a small statue of Jesus, adding to its decorative charm. Following recent renovations, the church’s distinctive design has made it a popular photography spot, attracting many visitors who appreciate its unique architecture, prominently standing out in the cityscape. At night, the church emits a distinctive light that enhances its presence in the city.
