Malada

Malada, located directly across from Bank NTT, is a standout establishment in Waikabubak city known for its specialty in meatballs. Established in 1985, it is one of the oldest restaurants in the area. Malada exclusively offers a variety of meatballs, including beef tendon, regular, and meatballs with egg. Operating daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, the restaurant provides outdoor seating, allowing it to accommodate many customers despite its modest size. There’s a local belief that the authentic flavor of their meatballs is best savored on-site rather than as a takeaway. Additionally, the owner, Mas Amin, permits some vegetable vendors to operate in front of the restaurant.
