La Paranda is the perfect spot to enjoy tasty dishes and delicious coffee. It has a very convenient location within Waingapu’s center, offering a truly distinct experience to anyone seeking new experiences.

The establishment stands out with a ‘hidden’ garden. Once you walk through the entrance, you are in a different world. climbing a few steps up, you find yourself at the terrace with a moderately-sized bench and lots of open space. Climb a few steps more and you will find yourself in the dining area. This part of the establishment is surrounded by plants and stone walls; the roof is designed in the shaape of a traditional Sumbanese house, giving the establishment the authentic flavor that every traveler seeks.

The restaurant has a somewhat shadowy, quiet atmosphere. You can dine in tranquility here without worrying about the racing outside world. Sailboat-shaped tables and tropical atmosphere matches Sumba’s adventurous spirit very well. The establishment serves mostly traditional Indonesian dishes with a local twist.
