Beneath the waves of the rarely visited island of Sumba to the south of Komodo lies an untouched, thriving and peaceful world. Sumba can offer some wild open water diving off its southern coast. Big pelagics are attracted to the open ocean dive sites of Magic Mountain. The Oldest and only Dive center in Sumba is located near the Nihi Resort. The coral, both soft and hard, is amazingly undamaged, very healthy and abundant, and a lot of colourful fishes. Turtles are common there and so is Spanish mackerel
