Payeti Church

Located on Prof. Yohanes Street, Payeti Church stands as the largest Christian church in Waingapu City. Officially inaugurated on July 16, 1930, it also marks a pivotal moment in the history of East Sumba with the ordination of Hapu Mbay, the first indigenous pastor, on March 3, 1942.
