The Ministry of Transportation officially designated five new international gateways across Indonesia to decentralize traffic from Bali. While Sumba remains a domestic hub, these new entry points in nearby regions have made “island-hopping” itineraries (e.g., Singapore to Labuan Bajo to Sumba) much more seamless.
