Totok Kalada Village
The village of Totok Kalada, situated approximately an hour’s drive from Tambolaka Airport, is renowned for its adherence to traditional customs and the Marapu belief system, similar to other communities in Southwest Sumba. This culturally rich village features 17 traditional houses (Umma Kalada) and 98 megalithic stone graves, alongside ancestral artifacts that are considered sacred and accessible only during specific traditional ceremonies.
