The “Homecoming Sumba 2026” charity tour brought together Telkomsel and 81 riders from GSrek Indonesia to deliver vital infrastructure and educational aid to rural Sumba from April 26 to May 2, 2026.
The team built clean water networks, including storage tanks, piping, and taps, and installed solar panels at a school that previously had no stable access to electricity.
Three schools, SD Negeri Ndata, SLB Negeri Loura, and SD Inpres Pantai Rua, received school supplies, stationery, and interactive learning sessions utilizing Telkomsel’s digital network.
The project highlighted a massive collaborative effort, backed by major sponsors like BMW Motorrad and PUBG Mobile, aiming to set a benchmark for sustainable corporate-community social impact.
